19/04 Visit to KWF

On  Thursday 19 April the second year Public Health students will visit the KWF Kankerbestrijding (organization that works to fight cancer)  to learn and discuss the KWF policy making process and their relationship with policy makers at national level.

20/04 ‘Out of the box’ meeting

On Friday 20 April Windesheim Honours College will be hosting the O&O network’s annual out-of-the-box meeting. The O&O network deals with Education and Research in higher education and wants to learn more about WHC and how things happen at the College. The members will meet both lecturers and students.

27/04 Guest lecture on human trafficking

Friday 27 April, Nicole Brenninkmeijer will give a guest lecture on human trafficking, for the second year students.

07/05 Field trip to Seats2meet in Utrecht for 2nd year students

Monday 7 May, the 2nd year students will be going on a field trip to Seat2meet in Utrecht were they will get the chance to talk to writer and co-founder at Seats2meet Ronald van der Hoff about his book Society 3.0.

08/05 Public Health Field trip

On Tuesday 8 May, the first and second year students will be taking to a trip with lecture, Priya Satalkar to Project Pills in Zwolle.  Project Pills is an EU project carried out in 6 countries where the aim is to detoxify hospital wastes at site before releasing this waste water into ordinary water treatment plants.
