General costs
Insurance
Health insurance is obligatory and in The Netherlands it’s common to also take out third-party insurance. The cost of insurance depends on your personal situation. For more information about insurances you can visit the website of Nuffic, an organization that is specialized in internationalization in higher education.
Books
The costs for books and readers are estimated at € 600,-.
Living expenses
You will need budget for, among other things, food, going out and your mobile phone bill. A rough estimate of these costs is € 3000,-, but of course the real costs depend on your personal lifestyle.
Student association membership fee
A quick and easy way to meet other students is joining one of the students associations. The Windesheim Honours College has its own student association, but you can also join one of the public student associations. The costs for membership are estimated at € 50,- per year.
