In order to be eligible for admission, students must meet the minimum entry requirements with regards to:
- Previous education
- Level of mathematics
- English-language proficiency
Previous education
Students with the following diplomas are eligible for admission to the WHC degree programme:
Dutch diplomas:
- Dutch VWO secondary school diploma.
- Dutch HAVO secondary school diploma.
- Dutch MBO level 4 diploma with a pass for English and mathematics.
International or European Baccalaureate:
International or European Baccalaureate.
Diplomas obtained outside the Netherlands:
Upon receipt of your complete application Windesheim Honours College will arrange an equivalency evaluation of diplomas obtained outside The Netherlands in order to asses whether you satisfy the minimum entry requirements.
Level of mathematics
The following satisfy the minimum entry requirements for mathematics:
- A pass for Dutch VWO mathematics.
- A pass for Dutch HAVO level A1 mathematics.
- A pass for Dutch MBO level 4 mathematics.
English-language proficiency
The following satisfy the minimum entry requirements for English language proficiency:
- Native speaker of English
- Previous education completely taught in English
- A pass for Dutch Vwo English
- A pass for Dutch Havo English
- A pass for Dutch mbo level 4 English
- IELTS 6.0
- TOEFL Paper-based test, result 550
- TOEFL Computer-based test, result 213
- TOEFL Internet-based test, result 80
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency, grade C
- Cambridge Certificate in Advance English, grade C
- Cambridge First Certificate in English, grade A
