Until 24 July, the third edition of the ‘Summer School Central en South European Management’ is taking place at the Honours College. The goal of the summer school is to extend the students’ existing business knowledge in a continuously growing geographic area, namely Central and South Eastern Europe. Participants are business & economics students from all over Europe.

Programme

The Summer School was opened festively on Monday 12 July, by Albert Cornelissen, chairman of the Board of Directors of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. All participants were then invited to have a go at the ‘Dutch mini-buffet’, especially the ‘dropjes’ (liquorice) and cheese took some getting used to. For the rest of the two weeks, participants follow lectures in 4 modules: Central and South Eastern European economics, Central and South Eastern European policy studies, European business law and a management game. Evening lectures and off course a few daytrips (to NAM/Shell and Amsterdam) are also included in the programme.

International

The group is wonderfully diverse, there are students from the Netherlands, Thailand, Finland, Hungary, Turkey, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Austria and Romania (including three Honours College students). There is ample opportunity to network and make new friends. We wish all participants al lot of fun and hope this is an experience they will never forget!
