Characteristics of our programme
Your future international career lies at the heart of our programme in international change and project management. You are equipped with the knowledge and skills to take with you as you start your international career.
You combine a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) with a specialization, which will be your future work field: Public Health or Communication & Media.
Courses and projects
During the programme you learn to manage a project from A to Z. You learn to translate theory into practice during through interactive ways of teaching. This includes guest lecturers from non- governmental organizations like Butterfly Works or an inspirational talk about leadership from ex-CEO of WWF in South Africa, Tony Frost. In different courses you pay visits to organizations and events relevant to the subject of the course. For example; the first year students of 2011 produced the daily conference newspaper at the European Conference on Tobacco or Health (ECToH) in Amsterdam.
Year 1
Each semester ends with a project based on real-life situations. The project ‘Orientation on the Profession’ is part of year 1. In this project you get to know your future work field interviewing people with a career in Public Health or Communication & Media. The other project of the first year is the Visual Problem Appraisal (VPA) training in which you work to develop strategies to improve the livelihoods of communities in India.
